PLANNED PROGRAM:
DAY1: FLIGHT (Vienna-Cancun) approx. 10.5 hours with a stopover in Toronto (Canada)
Due to the time difference, we arrive in Cancun the same day, transfer from the airport to Puerto Aventuras, where we will stay in a beautiful, very clean apartment in 2-bedroom apartments. We own “half the house”, we are in Puerto Aventuras, the good thing is that it is a peaceful and quiet small town, but if you want the hustle and bustle of Playa del Carmen, just hop in a taxi and 20 minutes later you will find yourself right in the hustle again. The same goes for Tulum. By the way, renting a car costs around €30/day
We actually have a “private villa” with individual 2-bed apartments and our own pool! Catering is self-catering, but all apartments have: built-in kitchenette, refrigerator and microwave, table with two chairs, private bathroom, cable TV, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and cupboards!
There is a bakery and a few restaurants (also with breakfast!!) in a 5-minute walk.
DAY 2: Orientation in town, shopping, then check-in at the dive center, paperwork, assembly of equipment, briefings, ……. Afternoon: free time, hiking, evening pool party.
DAY 3 to 6: 4 days, 2 x daily cenote diving:AOWD, Cavern, Intro Cave, Full Cave:Includes: Passports, NP Taxis, Transfers, Tanks, Weights, Guides, Dives plus Fruits, Water.
The many beautiful cenotes are classified according to their level of difficulty and are dived in groups of 4 with 1 leader per group (private guide). Groups and dive sites are divided into AOWD, Cavern Intro Cave, Full Cave based on diving qualifications. Even before the journey begins, probably at the end of February, you have the opportunity to get Cavern and Intro Cave certification over a weekend in Budapest.
On 2 days we dive in the sea
